Installation and Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• A WordPress website running version 5.0 or higher.
• An OpenAI API key. You can obtain one by signing up at OpenAI.

Installation Steps

1. Download the Plugin
   • Obtain the AI Dream Interpretation plugin files.
   • Ensure the plugin folder is named exactly websiteurlorg-ai-dream-interpretation.
     • Note: The plugin will not activate if the folder name is incorrect.
2. Upload the Plugin to WordPress
   • Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
   • Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
   • Click on Upload Plugin.
   • Click Choose File and select the websiteurlorg-ai-dream-interpretation.zip file.
   • Click Install Now.
3. Activate the Plugin
   • After installation, click on Activate Plugin.
   • If the plugin folder name is incorrect, you will receive an error message:
     AI Dream Interpretation plugin has been deactivated because the plugin folder name is incorrect. Please ensure the plugin folder is named websiteurlorg-ai-dream-interpretation.

     • In this case, rename the plugin folder to websiteurlorg-ai-dream-interpretation and try activating again.

Plugin Configuration

1. Access Plugin Settings
   • In the WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to Settings > AI Dream Interpretation.
2. Enter OpenAI API Key
   • In the OpenAI API Key field, enter your API key.
   • Your API key is securely stored and will not be displayed publicly.
3. Customize Form Labels and Headings (Optional)
   • Dream Description Label: Change the label for the dream description textarea.
   • Language Label: Change the label for the language input field.
   • Submit Button Label: Change the text displayed on the submit button.
   • Result Heading: Change the heading displayed before the dream interpretation result.
4. Save Changes
   • Click Save Changes to apply your settings.

Usage Instructions

Adding the Dream Interpretation Form to a Page or Post

1. Insert the Shortcode
   • Edit the page or post where you want the dream interpretation form to appear.
   • Add the following shortcode to the content area:
     [websiteurlorg_ai_dream_interpretation]

2. Publish or Update
   • Click Publish or Update to save your changes.

Using the Dream Interpretation Form

1. Access the Page/Post
   • Visit the page or post where you added the shortcode.
2. Fill Out the Form
   • Describe Your Dream: Enter a detailed description of your dream.
   • Language: Specify the language in which you want to receive the interpretation.
     • Example: “English”, “Spanish”, “French”, “German”, etc.
3. Submit the Form
   • Click on the Interpret My Dream button (or your customized button label).
   • Wait a few moments while the interpretation is generated.
4. View the Interpretation
   • The generated dream interpretation will appear below the form.
   • It will provide a thoughtful and insightful analysis of your dream.

• Customizing Labels and Headings
  • Go to Settings > AI Dream Interpretation to change the labels for the form fields and the result heading.
• Styling the Form and Output
  • The plugin includes a CSS file for styling:

  • You can modify this file to customize the appearance of the form and the interpretation output.
• Responsive Design
  • The plugin’s form and output are designed to be responsive and look good on various devices.

Troubleshooting

• Plugin Activation Error
  • Issue: Receiving an error during activation about the plugin folder name.
  • Solution: Ensure the plugin folder is named exactly:

    Rename the folder if necessary and try activating the plugin again.

• API Key Not Set
  • Issue: The plugin displays a message that the API key is not set.
